General Information

Deposits
Room rental is due at the time of booking your event. Saturday ballroom rental is $300.00. Sunday thru Friday ballroom rental is $150.00.

Cancellations
In the event that you cancel your function, your deposit is non-refundable. You will be held responsible for the contracted food and beverage minimum if you cancel your ballroom function within one week of its scheduled date.

Payment and Billing
Final payment for total estimated charges, including food and beverage with service and sales tax, is due 7 business days prior to the event. Any additional charges will be due at the completion of the event.

Food and Beverage
All food and beverage will be supplied by Blue Note Catering and must be consumed in the time frame of the event. Food and beverage will not be allowed to leave the building. The Blue Note, Inc. as a licensee, is responsible for the administration and sales of all alcoholic beverages in accordance with the State of Minnesota Liquor Statues and the City of Winsted Liquor Ordinances. Therefore, all liquor, beer and wine consumed at this facility must be supplied by The Blue Note.

Guarantees
A final guest count is required 7 days prior to your event. If the catering department does not receive a guarantee by the required date, the customer will be charged accordingly based upon the original number of expected guests. If the number of people served is higher than the contracted amount, the additionalcost is due at the end of the event.

Decorations
The customer is responsible for distribution and collection of all decorating materials. All items must be removed at the end of the night on the day of the scheduled event. Rice, confetti and glitter are not allowed. An additional cleaning fee will be added if these items are used. Please consult with management for prior approval of any decorating.

Blue Note Decorating
The Blue Note highly recommends Tom Specken (320) 485-4589/ Bob Kegler (320) 485-4234 for all your decorating needs.

Deliveries
Any deliveries can be made on the scheduled day of your event anytime after 10:00am.

Stolen Articles
The Blue Note is not responsible for any lost or stolen articles from the building.
(This includes gifts given or received for any booked events)

Wedding Cake
The Blue Note allows for cakes to be brought in upon approval. The customer is responsible for cutting, serving and cleaning up utensils (you provide your own utensils) and remaining cake. Wedding cakes and servers are available upon request.

Head Tables
The Blue Note offers to serve a table of 20 people for a wedding. The bride and groom are served a plate with every food item. The remaining wedding party are served the meal family style. Alchohol is not severed by our wait staff. There is a charge of $5.00 per person for any number above 20.

Buffet
All of our catered meal prices are based on a buffet style service.

Gratuity
Any meal of 100 or below will have a 15% gratuity on all food and beverages.
Any meal above 100 will have a 10% gratuity on all food and beverages.

Entertainment
There is a $90.00 charge for security in the event of a band or a disc jockey. The cost of the security is based on a four hour dance, any time over four hours is an additional $25.00 per hour. All entertainment is supplied by the customer.

Chicken wings marinated in honey, soy sauce and ginger and slow roasted for a caramel glaze sensation.

Meat and Cheese Platter (20-25)
A choice of sliced summer sausage, deli sliced ham or deli sliced turkey, displayed on a platter with american ans swiss cheese severd with assorted crackers.

Taco Dip and Chips (20-25)
Seasoned Sour Cream layered with lettuce, onions, tomatoes, shredded cheese and black olives served with tortillia chips

Vegetable Medley (20-25)
Fresh broccoli and cauliflower florets, baby carrots, celery sticks and colorful radishes served with ranch dip.

Prices are per plate, prices with a * signify that it will be portioned by a server on the buffet line. All prices per plate of the meat choices include two vegetable choices, pickle spears, olives, dinner rolls, coffee and milk. If a second meat is chosen, the amount will be in addition to the higher priced of the two meat choices.
